@SylwiaVargas Too many talks to name! In particular from a recent WiT event:
- on 'where are all the black women in tech'
- working in tech + experiencing menopause
- on the Pet to Threat phenomenon https://t.co/t4PgrzRQXv)
- on dei in tech
The topics tend to be intersectional.
@SylwiaVargas I'm also lucky to live somewhere with a strong local tech community that's inclusive. The women in tech events (none of which were exclusive women only) explored topics that would be less lively to get on the agenda in more mainstream tech events.
@SylwiaVargas I've been to several women centered trans inclusive tech events and I've really valued those spaces. Having career switched to tech in the past 2 years, it's been a great way to get to know people in my local tech community. I think it's important to have them.
@GergelyOrosz Wondering if this will result in new social media with more verification to check for humanness, or existing ones adding verification checks? Will at some point become hard to do without requiring IDs.
@tail_ends Here are some codes from a friend of mine who wanted to help w the furry migration but doesn't have an account on here. They're legit. First come first serve - they just wanted to share them.
