NEWS: Trust Machines is starting a joint venture with Tucows (NASDAQ: TCX) to seamlessly connect web2 with web3 (on Bitcoin).

BNS, the oldest and largest domain system on Bitcoin, has seen a lot of traction lately. Connecting the traditional DNS system to BNS is the crucial missing piece. We're doubling down on BNS by bridging this gap.

Introducing Orange Domains.

Orange Domains will expand the functionality of the Bitcoin Name System (BNS) through decentralized apps on Stacks L2, as well as develop new top-level domain (TLD) services to better connect the traditional Domain Names System (DNS) with web3 digital identities. Web2 users on any device (mobile or desktop) on any browser should be able to interact with Bitcoin addresses, Bitcoin-based usernames, login info, and Stacks L2 smart contracts without installing any special software.

Building new functionality for BNS will improve UX for existing BNS domains like .btc, .id, etc. New TLDs from DNS can be mapped to BNS, bridging the critical gap currently in decentralized domains. 

The new joint venture, Orange Domains, will work closely with Trust Machines products like Leather Wallet and our JV partners like Tucows and Hiro Systems to bring a new wave of users to Bitcoin, Bitcoin L2s (Stacks, etc.), and BNS.
