$5,000,000 in missed profits on CZ's dog token.

I think everyone’s heard about how CZ hyped up the entire community before revealing his dog’s name. The plan was simple: wait for the name, find the first deploy, buy in, catch some Xs, sell, and get rich.
The tweet drops. I flashback to my flipping skills from 2021. I see the dog’s name, start searching for existing contracts.
Not finding anything solid, I check a bot for new deploys and buy #broccoli (using the NFDbot (https://t.co/VjFgOMcQ0X) (it didn’t let me down) — the very first buy for 0.1BNB.
As it turned out, my transaction was one of the earliest, and I bought almost 10 million coins at a market cap of 7,000$. The token starts pumping, and other's "broccolies" too get deployed.
I sell in chunks. I see another token with a market cap of 290M and think all the liquidity is flowing into that one instead of my meme, I decide to sell everything to lock in some profit.
Unfortunately,I end up selling most of my bag near the bottom.
Finaltally: 291,000$ in pure profit from a 70$ investment.
A solid result, except for one thing.
My token starts pumping again and peaks at a 290M market cap, and my original 10 million coins would’ve been worth almost a 5-7 million dollars.
Massive FOMO.
Why didn’t I hold for a moonshot?
Why did I sell so fast?
A few reasons. First and simplest — those damn whales. Influencers picked up another token and started shilling it, making it seem like all the liquidity was leaving my token. Second reason — the market.
Honestly, over the last couple of months, I’ve lost a ton of money (for me, at least), so I didn’t want to lose any current profits. Sitting there watching your $broccoli bag dump because whales are pushing another project is brutal when you haven’t seen real profits in a long time.
Of course, holding and selling at the absolute peak is nearly impossible, but under perfect conditions, I could’ve made 5,000,000 instead of the 291,000 I walked away with.
A life-changing moment was so close, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen this time either.
@kingwilliam_ yeah "build me an app" was never the move, the actual unlock is context engineering - specs, constraints, iterating on architecture before you even ask for code
@EvanLuthra cloud computer per bot is the actual unlock - most agent tools still choke the second they need a real filesystem or terminal that persists past your session
@Big_Tea_Rice@KaitoAI@axisrobotics token-based campaigns on kaito are gonna be the new meta for distribution, curious how axis ranking holds up once the farmers pile in
