@trishdumpacct I think you’re arguing with a point I never made. My post was never about excusing cheating. It was about people calling that speech pa-victim. Masyado mong niliteral yung “nadapa” when it’s a common Filipino metaphor for making the wrong choices and learning from them
idk where the “pavictim” takes are coming from. I get why some of y’all dislike her, but it feels like a lot of people reacted to the caption w/o watching her full speech. She literally said, “nadapa at nagkamali,” admitting she made the wrong choice. How is that being pavictim?
“Sa lahat ng nadapa, bangon lang!”

@riinchxn I get the outrage, honestly. I just don’t get why admitting your bad choices suddenly “pa-victim.” Isn’t the point of holding people accountable so they can acknowledge what they did, learn from it, and move forward?
@trishdumpacct Y’all keep saying “choice, not mistake” as if those two can’t exist at the same time. It WAS a choice. And it became a mistake because it was the wrong choice. That’s literally what accountability is. So again… where’s the “pa-victim” part?

@Lolly_is_home@Snowmight22 nag react agad kase sa caption without even watching and listening to her full speech or maybe wala lang comprehension? hehe

ralph: may nameet ka na bang tao na performative?
joy: i used to have that mindset when it comes to people but i’ve also learned na mali siya in a way. if we’re gonna label people, we’re also restricting them from becoming their full selves or from them to achieve their full capabilities as a person
