An update to myPOPGOES is out... rejoice!
myPOPGOES has been updated on Steam with a few important changes. This is not the reprogrammed version of the game. I'll tell you what is included! #fnaf#popgoes
Additions:
- Very subtle hints have been added to the game to help with naturally discovering the secret ending.
Bug fixes:
- If the game recognises that you've completed a level (with a star or in-game achievement) but you didn't get an achievement on Steam... it will now be granted on Steam when you boot the game up! We've tested this with some of YOUR save files, and it has worked so far. Let me know if this works for you guys!
- Wrongfish will no longer sometimes spawn perfectly on top of a Rightfish (which would make it impossible to clear the current level) in Fishing.
- The bar used to represent the pizza expiration in the Expiring Pizzas challenge is now more visually reliable (it would previously pause for too long on the final frame).
- The Character Bios menu no longer bugs out when you toggle zoom (no more random Spanish, or faint spoilers...).
- Some menus have been reworked to load faster or fix minor visual errors.
Balance changes:
- Topping Juggle now gives points when you trash utensils.
- The pizzas in Expiring Pizzas now expire at a slightly slower rate.
- Endless mode thresholds have been lowered from 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm... to 6:45pm, 7:30pm, and 8:15pm. This is a temporary adjustment and we plan on implementing a better approach in the reprogrammed version of the game. But please feel free to give this mode another go if you found the original version too frustrating - it is not cheating! Previous high scores remain, so if you hit 9pm you can still brag about it.
That's it at the moment! I know there are other issues that people are running into, but a lot of those things (like the game simply not acknowledging that you've beaten a level at all) may need to wait until the full reprogram of the game (which we are making progress on). If you run into NEW major issues in this build, let us know and we will prioritise them.

YES, BROTHERS! Eventually. It has always been the plan for Fanverse titles to be ported, and mine are designed with other platforms in mind. It will happen when we are totally done with the projects on PC! #fnaf#popgoes
myPOPGOES' main programmer has unfortunately been away for over 24 hours now, so a patch today seems unlikely. We are starting on the reprogrammed version today.
In the meantime, if you complete a level and don't yet acknowledged for it (achievement or in-game reward, etc), we've found that sometimes restarting the game and completing it again will trigger it. This isn't guaranteed but if you want to risk it, be my guest.
Still very sorry about the bugs. Keep the feedback coming, especially with your thoughts on level difficulty and balance ideas, because we'll probably be focusing on those in the new version of the game (since hopefully most bugs won't appear at all in a fresh start...)

A quick follow-up on the price
1. myPOPGOES will have a launch discount of -20% ($3.99) for 8 days, to celebrate the 10 YEARS FNAF celebration!
2. The price will have Steam's "recommended regional pricing". As an example, $4.99USD converted to a currency like Brazilian Real would be R$28,23. But you'll notice that POPGOES Arcade's price in Brazil is actually only R$10,89. This is an effort by Steam to help make games more affordable for more people. I'm pretty sure we'll apply this system to all of the games I release on Steam.
Also, we are working on a new trailer for the game, and I will also make more posts about what is NEW in the Steam version, since some people who aren't too familiar with myPOPGOES are wondering why there's even a paid version in the first place. Of course the Steam version is a big expansion to the first but I'll go over this in simple terms soon.

Some new info on myPOPGOES
1. The game will cost $4.99 on launch. Same price as POPGOES Arcade. The game is smaller than Arcade, but we actually think, in hindsight, that Arcade is quite underpriced. myPOPGOES, like PA, will go on sales fairly often and I also plan on offering it as a reward for artists featured in the weekly showcase. I have asked about potentially doing a "launch discount" of 20% off, specifically for the 10 Years event, but nothing confirmed yet. So try to save up a fiver for now!
2. The game will have 21 achievements. 18 of these are fairly normal and just represent which levels you have beaten. Three of them are kind of unique though. The game will also have an in-game achievement menu, featuring new artwork by Javivi / SilverxCristal.
3. The game has brand new music. Atmospheric tracks have been provided by Radiarc (the main composer of POPGOES Evergreen, and the ambient music in POPGOES Arcade), and new chiptune music has also been made by KamilFirma, a newcomer to the POPGOES series.
4. The game includes more lore than we previously planned. It is basically a full exploration of Bonnie Glade's character, especially as a youngster. That being said, I think it would be fine to play this game as your first POPGOES game. It's not too heavy with it. If anything, it's a great appetiser for something like POPGOES Arcade. You can play either of these games in either order (but both definitely before Evergreen lol).
5. For those who don't know, the game includes a comprehensive Spanish translation. This will be available on launch. Unfortunately, this is a feature that will be exclusive to myPOPGOES, as we are not able to add translations to Arcade or Evergreen. The reason a translation was added to myPOPGOES is simply because the programmer's first language is Spanish and he insisted!
6. The game will release on August 1st, but the deadline has meant that, I imagine, there MIGHT be some minor visual bugs or balance issues on launch. I ask that you be patient with us and report issues if you encounter any. We are obviously rigorously testing the game, and that'll continue throughout the week, but it is a weird game with unique controls and quite a few game modes. We obviously won't leave the game alone until it's perfect.
7. A mobile port is already in development. It might even be out this year. The lack of wacky Clickteam Fusion shaders has made it a lot easier than Arcade's port.
8. There are currently no plans for DLC / major updates. We have added everything that was planned. That being said, if I ever change my mind about this in the future and some myPOPGOES team members are up for making more stuff, we may do a "Fighting Chance" type of thing, or something, but I'd also make sure that it is free for everyone who owns the game. I know some people have asked about a playable Candy the Cat or some kind of collaboration with The Joy of Creation, and though I admit this sounds really fun, it's NOT planned currently.
