Before, she would have to charge her iPhone 15 (even with a new battery) throughout the day at work. Now, that's not a worry AT ALL. Much better cameras, action button, faster charging, camera control, 120hz display. It's what an upgrade should be. (2/2)

My fiancee is loving the 18 Pro

Battery life is insane. Feels great in the hand. Very dense. Side by side with my S25 Ultra it feels heavier even though it's not. (1/2)

iPhones don't have any little features to make everyday tasks easier or even fully automated.

I personally love Samsung routines. It's really useful to the point I almost won't consider any other brand as my full daily driver.

Just curious where everyone else's is compared to mine.

For me it's roughly 10-12% per hour of usage.

iPhone 18 Pro Max might be the closest to a perfect phone

Can’t think of anything that bothers me. Sure it could be lighter but it doesn’t bother me daily. The rest feels and functions great so far

The cameras are also really great from my use so far and battery is phenomenal

**It doesn't offer me an actual use case for the price.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 slander needs to chill. Apple’s iPhone Duo is fantastic but the Fold 8 now all of a sudden being “trash” is absurd. Competition is good!

A lot of people who have never come close to a foldable phone are praising the iPhone Duo for solving the "problems with current foldables"

And then proceed to show something already "solved" on current foldables

There is nothing we haven't seen already, and that's ok. The software looks nice and it's another option buyers have, but it's not a superior device that magically solved many "issues", because said "issues" were already solved generations ago

It's not a first generation display though... the technology to make the Duo screen so nice was already mature. It's a first generation Apple foldable but not a first generation display. If you're going to compare, then phrase it fairly.

iPhone Duo crease vs Galaxy Z Fold 8 crease side by side. First generation against eighth generation. And the iPhone screen looks flatter.

Samsung spent eight generations and seven years trying to fix the crease. Apple fixed it before they shipped the first unit. This is not a comparison. This is an autopsy.

The Z Fold 8 still bends in the middle like a used paperback. The iPhone Duo folds like it was machined from a single sheet of glass. Same price range. Same form factor. One company figured it out on attempt number one. The other one still hasn't.

This is by far my biggest concern for the iPhone Duo. The thickness.

To me what makes the Z Fold line feel so nice in the hand is that the thickness when folded feels not much different than a standard phone.

The iPhone Duo is not just slightly thicker. 11.3 mm is thick for a phone. The 17 Pro Max is a thick phone and that's only 8.8 mm. The Duo is almost 30% thicker.

I was really hoping Apple could match the thinness of the Z Fold 8 or at least get close.
