Brazil के पम्पुलहा हवाई अड्डे से उड़ान भरने के लगभग 15 मिनट बाद एक हवाई जहाज के भीतर धमाका हुआ और आग लग गई.
विमान को एक 29 वर्षीय पायलट उड़ा रहा था. एक मेंटेनेंस यात्रा के लिए पायलट ने अकेले ही उड़ान भरी थी.
प्लेन क्रैश होने की स्थिति में था लेकिन पायलट ने घबराने की बजाय विमान में मौजूद आपातकालीन CAPS सिस्टम की डोरी खींच दी.
इस सिस्टम ने एक छोटे रॉकेट की मदद से विमान की छत से सीधे पूरा पैराशूट बाहर ��ी तरफ खोल दिया.
पैराशूट की वजह से विमान तेज रफ्तार से नीचे गिरने के बजाय धीमी और नियंत्रित गति से ज़मीन की तरफ आने लगा.
ज़मीन से टकराने के बाद विमान पूरी तरह जल गया, लेकिन धीमी स्पीड से लैंड होने के कारण केबिन सुरक्षित रहा और पायलट मामूली चोटों के साथ ज़िंदा बच गया.

CAPS तकनीक की खासियत ये होती है कि यह सिस्टम सैनिटरी या मिलिट्री इजेक्शन सीट की तरह काम नहीं करता, जहाँ पायलट प्लेन से बाहर कूदता है.
बल्कि इसमें एक रॉकेट की मदद से पूरे हवाई जहाज़ का ही बड़ा पैराशूट खुल जाता है. इससे यात्री केबिन के भीतर ही पूरी तरह सुरक्षित रहते हुए विमान के साथ धीरे-धीरे ज़मीन पर आ जाते हैं.

I wanted to use Trump's threat to levy 50% tariffs on Canada to discuss the behavioral reasons why I believe Trump is so fixated on tariffs.
Two cornerstone objectives for Trump, especially now that he's playing out his final chapter on Earth, are greed and grandiosity. These two things, which interrelate, permeate everything he craves. He is a giant id. He wants awards, he wants things named after him, he wants $10B here and billions more there, and all of that is but a subset of what he really wants: The knowledge and belief that he can do whatever the f*ck he wants.
The legacy media always tries to understand Trump's stubborn fixations by normalizing him and asking: "What's he thinking?"
Allow me: Trump doesn't think; he feels. He craves.
And he likes how tariffs make him feel, because he can be a bully, impose his will, make and remove threats, and cause countries to do his bidding and pay him tribute arbitrarily. THEY FUEL HIS GRANDIOSITY.
How much more American consumers, businesses, and importers pay, is immaterial. None of that matters to Trump. People don't matter. America doesn't matter.
Bullying, imposing his will, being the center of attention, and threatening others, is the essence of what a malignant narcissist does.
It's like America didn't even elect a person.

The Army’s largest drone motor order ever, to a company where Don Jr. sits on the board and holds millions in stock.

A stake in the largest undeveloped tungsten deposit on earth, in Kazakhstan, backed by $1.6 billion in US government support.
