300 million people died last year from drugs?
300 million? Last year?
Is he on drugs?
The population of the United States is roughly 330 million. I presume even he isn't crazy enough to mean deaths from drugs in the United States.
If we're talking worldwide, the WHO puts the global death toll from drugs last year at 600,000 — 3 million if you include alcohol. On the most generous possible interpretation, he's off by a factor of 100.
The notion that 300 million people — nearly four per cent of the world population — could have died in one year from drugs alone is just ... Let's put it this way. The annual number of deaths worldwide from all causes is estimated at 60-70 million.
But then, this is the guy who claims his tariffs have raised 8 trillion dollars, that the real unemployment rate under Joe Biden was 42 per cent etc etc etc.
I’m heading to the Great State of Texas to watch the launch of the largest object ever to be elevated, not only to Space, but simply by lifting off the ground. Good luck to @ElonMusk and the Great Patriots involved in this incredible project!
