Soon, this @mybham twitter account will close down like our parent platform. Please follow @unibirmingham for central UoB updates, @UoB_ITServices for IT Services updates.
Over the past few years, we've been re-mapping online journeys for students & staff and updating the way we manage logins to make getting around easier. This work will continue. There are some exciting developments planned over the next few years to improve digital services.
At one time, we were the second busiest twitter account associated with the University of Birmingham after the central @unibirmingham, with more than 6,000 followers.
It was also the place to go to get access to personalised services such as Online Registration, Timetables and Exam Marks. Our Campus Announcements were a vital way of getting urgent updates, requests for volunteers and other news out to staff and students.
In that time, my.bham provided a memorable place for @unibirmingham students and staff to go to access all their key online administrative services, without having to login lots of times or remember lots of web addresses.
What did it take to create the Green Heart at the centre of our campus? Take a look at this timelapse video to see everything from the old library coming down to the Green Heart turf being laid.
We can't wait for spring to arrive . . . 🌸💮🌳🍃
A huge congratulations to everyone graduating in the @unibirmingham winter ceremonies this week from all of us in the Alumni Relations Office! #congrats#UoBgraduation
