@CriddleBenjamin Irony is that James Webb, the man for whom the telescope is named, ran NASA when Joseph Fielding Smith declared that we'd never get a man into space. Doesn't seem to matter how many times they're proven wrong, some people have an incredible ability to still believe they're right.
@AlderNate @ldsfootnotes Jesus has a a beard, he is eternal. Probably the best evidence that the doctrine of eternal facial hair has been around a long time & current church leaders are in apostasy.
Convinced? No? How weird.
That's because my argument, like yours, is a rationalization, not evidence.
@SomeSaySinister@amelienirvana Beliefs in science and beliefs in gods are not mutually exclusive, people can believe the scientific method is the most reliable path to accuracy while simultaneously holding other inaccurate, irrational beliefs.
@TheTweetOfGod Call me old fashioned, but I don't think that debating when the exact moment a life begins is relevant to a women consenting to pregnancy. It's the equivalent of debating when arousal begins and somehow using that as justification to force a women into sex.
@edhead777@willywoo Um... because screaming isn't an effective method of persuasion?
We get it, you don't feel heard. Screaming isn't going to change that.
@CitronResearch You don't get much love on social media, but it seems to me that it takes a bigger man to admit he was wrong to his critics than it takes to criticize a man for being wrong.
@TheIdealistic1 When a man feels small on the inside, he dunks on others to feel big. We all do this to some degree, but not all of us will feel big by choosing not to dunk on others.
@Micaela45013958@WFLAJB I don't know. If I were to speculate, I would guess the camera images weren't reveiwed during that time.
I realize that this case later became high profile, but it wasn't at the time & the detectives working it Sept 13 were still from a relatively small town police department.
@Micaela45013958@WFLAJB I'm not aware that the images captured by police cameras were made public, so I'm skeptical that there is any merit to this claim. Regardless, a missing mustang for 3 days is not evidence of Brian Laundrie's guilt.
@Micaela45013958@WFLAJB If you can make a convincing argument that following Brian to the park could generate evidence to convict Brian in the disappearance of his fiance in Wyoming, then you make a good point. Otherwise investigators following him around would be a waste of limited resources.
@WFLAJB He was under investigation. Cameras are a great way to catch someone committing a crime which would allow authorities to place Brian under arrest.
@WFLAJB@NorthPortPolice @NewsNationNow The reason Sherlock Holmes solved his cases was because of his use of deductive logic. When people reason from the bottom up, they risk allowing their biases to interfere with what the evidence suggests and we get a million crackpot conspiracy theories.
@WFLAJB@NorthPortPolice I think it would be concerning if police had a habit of following residents around until they can build a case to arrest them. IMO, the public outrage against @NorthPortPolice is unwarranted. They'll find Brian, time is never on his side.
