Today, I improved the usability of the site for Premium users.

ChainFolio was always meant to be an easy to use software. So I thought of a way for users to easily access and know where all their premium features are.

Then this is what I did. I made a premium tab that contains all the premium features and can navigate users to where each of these features are used if need be.

This way a user can't get confused or lost on how to use ChainFolio premium.

It's Day 12 now

Today, I fixed a bug found by my tester @iam_toochi. The insights that gives a brief explanation of a repo wasn't showing from a visitors view.

What do I mean? If you share your ChainFolio link, people viewing it couldn't see your insights which is not meant to be.

Found the bug and squashed it 😌. Tested and Redeployed.

Yesterday, I worked on the toast errors. Most of the toast errors users see were coding terms or database feedbacks, which are not meant to be.

A user will not understand the errors and may not know what to do next.

So I created an error toast handling file and added user friendly error messages and what they can do if they encounter such errors

It's Day 10 now

Today, I worked on the premium onboarding. The account sync part to be specific. I made it that a wallet user can link or unlink their google account incase of mistakes will choosing an account before they continue and also the same for a google user linking a wallet.

I also made the site to stop reading the default wallet email that is generated when a wallet user registers, emails like (0x*****[email protected]) as the google account.

Tested and Redeployed 👌🙂.

Today I squashed another bug 😂.

Premium users keep getting this toast that tells them they can't upgrade their plan whenever they try to add their custom SEO.

I found the fault, it was a trigger collision that was occurring.

So I fixed it and retested it and it worked perfectly.

Today I focused on testing and debugging the recent features with the help of my tester @iam_toochi. He helped in spotting a wide variety of bugs that I still don't know how I missed them.

Still in the process of getting them fixed though. I will squash the bugs before I proceed with any other Feature.

Day 5 of building Chainfolio Premium in public.

So today I added AI insights feature for the Featured Repos and Projects.

What does this do? It gives a summary of projects or repositories based on the repositories provided.

This allows viewers to get a scope of what the project or repos being shown is about.

The insights are also editable, as we all know AIs are not 100% accurate so there is room for further adjustment.

It's Day 4 of building ChainFolio Premium in public.

So today I rounded up the Custom Domain and SEO feature and moved on to the next feature. The site analytics feature.

It's still a work in progress though. The feature shows you a performance review for your portfolio so you can know where and where in your portfolio is working and also where isn't.

Why this feature? One of the aim of Chainfolio is to make a premium portfolio for users. So I believe that users should be able to see the section where their portfolio isn't performing so they can make changes or upgrades to it.

Day 2 of building ChainFolio premium in public.

So today I updated the dashboard and added a tab that only shows for Premium users.

I also added the feature that allows users to input their own personal bought domains and also there custom og title, og description and og image that shows along with their links.

I upgraded my admin dashboard to manage users plans more effectively and also upgraded the security against hackers. Added more layers IYKYK.

I also added onboarding for premium users so all the features being added can be known and seen how to use.
