Tobacco was greatly impacted by Hurricane Florence. Leaves were blown off the stalk. Remaining leaves were bruised & tattered causing ripening at an extreme rate. There is also flopping due to saturated soils. Below are two pictures of the same field. Saturday to Tuesday.
