Life is LA is extreme y’all, everytime I meet a celebrity or influencer I liked online It’s a mind blowing experience.. some are really incredible and some unexpectedly veryyyyy different than I expected.
Be mindful of your words and prove to yourself that you don’t have to get the short end of the stick in life. Our thoughts turn to words and our words manifest our reality. Words create worlds
At the end of the day many of us struggle with unhealthy critical thinking and are just projecting that in family + community. Sit with yourself when you get ready to say something harsh to yourself or anyone else.
I think the best line that came from the last generation is “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all” this is not to be excused for toxicity but a guide for kindness daily.
In closing, we affirmed her, reminded her of her strength, skills and support. We did not need to smother her with solutions to ease our own fears of death etc. We mindfully told her the truth. We shined light on the rights of passage she’s walking and gave her space to allow.
Lastly we talked about the potential of death. This part is really important, in my community, death is a crossroads, an opportunity. We talked about what that look liked practically for her. She already understood she had much to live for but now she understands steps to rebirth
I then explained that there is a very vast field of thoughts that exist around death. Including the things she’s mentioned; grief, depression, suicide, afterlife, guilt and understanding the brains function allows you to view these thoughts as topics instead of actions.
Second I informed her that there’s an emotional scale and the way the the brain works is it receives thoughts based off of where you are vibrationally. The brain is a receiver and when you don’t know that you take responsibility for thoughts as if your creating them.
She then went into detail about the amount of loss and grief she’s experienced in her life. That allowed me to understand where she’s is vibrationally on the emotional scale. She herself is mirroring the various deaths she’s experiencing in her life.
First I reminded her that she is not her thoughts. This is extremely important because often times we take responsibility for the thoughts as if they make us a bad person for having them. No, these are normal thoughts.
Wanting to have more conversation about the parts of motherhood we fear to say out loud. At the women’s circle last night we covered some heavy topics and I’m grateful for the women that felt safe enough to share.
Things mushrooms taught me:
It is possible to become numb to your experiences, micro dose when this happens. Micro-dosing increases the neurological synapses creating new pathways to the brain, simultaneously creating new responses to life and new experiences.
Things mushrooms taught me:
Everything is energy in motion, you can see this very clearly on psychedelics. The grass waves like the ocean, the trees dance. Everything is living.
