Tommy's soul was placed inside a teenager named Thomas Shepherd by his twin brother Billy, after the boy drowned.

Tommy sometimes sees Vision's face, but has no idea who Vision is. He thinks it's just a delusion.

Vision's own son doesn't know his father exists.
