@marco_zanti@leedoppo For VRM Blendshape Proxy, or other scripts written that calls Blendshape index (which number of blendshapes in creation order), a change in blendshape names doesn't matters. However in animation we recorded the bs names so this matters.
@leedoppo btw, I just tested that, save file as ma, will make blendshape names strange even when it's English.
However saving as mb the names are same.
Note that, Maya file saved in 2022 + use component tags so previous version Maya will loss skin, BS, deformers, etc.
@leedoppo I'm still using Maya 2018 (use a lot of python 2 scripts). Import blendshapes with name rather than English and _ (let's say Japanese, Chinese, Symbols,etc.) , the names become strange.
Its hard to import MMD models with Japanese bs name. Can it be fixed?
