@Amanda_Vickery I exclusively BF for 7.5 years (4 kids)! Formula = expensive. My husband worked 50+ hr weeks, one car, I don’t shop or go to the salon and we have a small home. The real investment wasn’t so much financial but rather it was giving my time for all those years but it was worth it!

2/2 @Nigella_Lawson said that women have conditioned ourselves to not ask “What am I feeling like (to eat) or what do I need (to eat) but instead the sadder ‘what *should I* eat instead due to diet culture.” Also, her goal as a hostess is to be “imperfectly present”- thank you ❤️

@Amanda_Vickery I’ve had four c-sections and after the first I asked for less drugs and only needed ibuprofen afterwards. My last one resulted in an emergency hysterectomy and I was awake for the 3 hrs and the spinal stopped and I felt six hands in me BUT my giant kidneys stones were WAY WORSE!
