@zjlaing Have they ever called a penalty on only the diver?? It’s starting to feel like this happens more and more in hockey. Soccer and the NBA have had issues with this for years. Hopefully the NHL gets a handle on this before it starts changing the outcome of games.

What I find interesting is when Evander Kane disclosed the nature of his injury recently he was ridiculed in the media by @SportsnetSpec as being too dramatic. If they keep quiet (e.g. Nylander) we want to know. If they disclose, we ask why did they do that?

@dantencer What wrong with the Norris Trophy is that the only D on the Oilers that might get nominated isn’t even their own best D-man. If the Oilers were forced to sit Ekholm or Bouchard in the playoffs, who’s sitting? It’s not Ekholm.

But if they aren’t stepping up, the City can declare emergencies, have some catered meetings in warm conference rooms and point fingers and pass the buck around. Or they could actually DO something proactive and worry about going after the province another time.

@AndrewKnack @edmontonleon @Mom2364 Use the $100 million for bike lanes to help them with the resources needed. Stop passing the buck. There’s money, it’s just not seen as a high priority so Council funds other stuff. If not bike lane money find it elsewhere. Some things are nice to do. Other things are necessary.
