Author of sci-fi, fantasy, and a little sci-fan, too. Might have dabbled in fanfiction once or twice. Ginger on a mission to tell some stories! She/her. 🏳️⚧️
@TheRealDesastr Me over here crossing all of those types as I age. "Nope, never gonna get.", "Well, maybe one or two with meaning.", to "FILL MY FLESH WITH INK I AM THE LIVING CANVAS."
Let people paint and decorate their temples as they see fit.
Day 2 #FebruaryWorldbuilders@Kiraofthewind1 hosting.
The Autocracy spans a lot of settled solar systems along a chunk of the ancient empire's hyperspatial jumpgate network. They're limited only by functional corridors for the network, or the Borderwatch Systems to the 'south.'
Day 1 #FebruaryWorldbuilders from @Kiraofthewind1
The 'world' of the Blades of Fate books is a region of space known by many names: the Autocracy, the Settled/Inhabited Worlds, Ecumene, etc. To the very oldest records it's also the Realm of Exile.
Friends, I want to give ya'll a chance to share your worldbuilding! Please be kind to me and understand that I won't be able to interact everyone who does this. If that bothers you, feel free to not do it! I'm so excited to see everyone's worldbuilding!🫶🥰
#FebruaryWorldbuilders
Fyi, if I'm talking about liking or even LOVING one of my characters, this does NOT guarantee they are good! Or even that I endorse their actions! I'm a self-proclaimed villain-lover! 🤣 If anything, my love of a character should be a red flag that they've done some bad stuff!
@AuthorAudreyS Especially early on there was a "glitch" that had everyone starting their romance arcs like the second time you rested at camp? I accidentally romanced Gale because I thought it was just a cool 'here's how magic works' thing until narrator was like "you want to kiss him."
NOPE
@AuthorAudreyS I have one scene *so* far into the series I may never publish it, but I'm dying to write. MC's not quite ascended but *accepts* her demigod powers. Blasts a wall with lightning. Not just a fancy boom, the bolt splits like fingers and latches on so she can tear the breach wide.
