Memjo: The digital memory journal designed for people living with dementia making it easy for family and friends to share photos, music, videos and memories.
Morning Twitteroos!!! It’s the start of Christmas and here’s the first window of our #dementiaadventcalendar for how YOU can help US to be involved.....
We love reading about people creating life story books. Thanks @juliagapowell for sharing this. At @MyMemoryJournal we're working to make it easy for people to create life story books that combine photos, music and video.
I've been helping mum remember who she is. I've finally finished her "This is my life book" before she goes into a home. It will help carers know who mum is & can be used to help mum when she needs prompting about her past. It's great for discussion. https://t.co/9Fmuphyylo
it’s been said before but I‘LL SAY IT AGAIN
PLEASE can someone start making affordable, ATTRACTIVE accessibility equipment for the home? i want a cute rose gold shower stool not blue & white industrial trash 🙄 just cos i’m disabled doesn’t mean i don’t have taste?
Sending greetings to all the #carehomes taking part in Care Homes Open Day 2019. Have a wonderful time!

Thanks @ShobnaGulati for writing this blog. In our work we see opportunities for new ways of creating support networks for people living with #dementia
"If we can help people talk about dementia, we create support networks and enable people to find information that can be a real lifeline. Let's get talking." Read this powerful blog from actress @ShobnaGulati https://t.co/uOZG2m0uPW
Even when the weather is dull and damp accessing the outdoors improves mood, aids cognition and bone health. If there are steps in and out of the home, consider if these are in good condition and if they require a rail which may aid balance and confidence. #WithOTuCAN

We like reading about people creating personal digital reminiscence. With technology you can combine memories, photos, music and video - and love designing creative ways of doing this.

I've encountered several people who don't want anyone 2know their loved one has any form of dementia b/c they're embarrassed--"What will ppl think?!" We need an atmosphere where people get the help they need; patients deserve dignity & respect. Families don't need to be ashamed.
