I’ve never seen men introduce themselves within their fellow men or even the society at large and say”Hello I’m daddy John,I’m daddy Blessing ,I’m daddy this and daddy that” but it’s always the women that are so quick to attach and introduce themselves with “my name is mummy this and that “ and quickly losing your identity.

You guys are vastly underestimating how expensive it is to exist right now. Even gainfully employed people are borrowing money like mad just to get through the month.
when I was doing my BSc in political science, I used to glaze over revolution as the only solution to Nigeria’s problems.
but after my several touch-points with reality, I have come to a higher realization that in our bid to sail towards a place of Eldorado, if we by chance toe the line of revolution, people like you and I would first be killed by this kind of people. if that happens, we have lost the revolution. it will just swiftly turn to a looting exercise with no direction.
women get shamed for sex. Liking it, not liking it, having too much or too little. Shamed for having kids, not having kids, having them too young, too old. There’s no setting where a woman is doing it “right.” There’s no version of a woman’s body that isn’t up for public debate.
You want to stay home, bake sourdough and have 9 kids? Wonderful!
But if another woman wants to go to med school and become the ob-gyn who helps you deliver those 9 kids, you don't get to guilt or shame her for HER CHOICE.
