@LizWebsterSBF@SamCoatesSky Of course she then went on to preside over some pretty nasty policies once back in power, so maybe it’s only heavy electoral defeat that enables self reflection.
@LizWebsterSBF@SamCoatesSky Theresa May saying the Tory party was seen as ‘the nasty party’ across the country in 2003 always struck me as an unusual example of self reflection from an active politician. I wonder how she’d describe today’s lot.
@Peston I guess deep down he knows they won’t stop before or after the election. Soon it’ll be Labour’s problem and their fault for mismanaging a good idea. And Labour will deserve blame for their mealy mouthed opposition to it.
@retrofootballnw Can’t pick a favourite but would give a shout as co-commentator to Terry Gibson. I think he was a scout for a long time after his playing career ended and it showed, he seemed to know about every player on the pitch on Sky’s La Liga coverage, not just the famous ones.
@CusackRitchie@retrofootballnw I loved the commentary on that. Don Howe used to co-commentate too and was always insightful with little details the viewer mightn’t notice.
@AndyMitten I fully expected the equaliser so I stuck £10 at 4/1 on a draw at 87 mins. Looked like £10 up in smoke at 98 mins and I couldn’t have been happier. This fucking team man 😒
