@GraceRandolph 100% replacing the talented artists who were let go w/ ai, which is likely being trained using said talented artists’ work. it’ll be interesting to see if they come out w/ any more ‘the art of [film/tv show]’ books and if they’re arrogant enough to feature said ai images in them
@Variety money is literally the only way to send a message to these companies/their shareholders who contribute to the bad things happening in the world in their own ways (eg the melissa barrera situation). like is he dumb
@Variety “being in a position of privilege and fame disqualifies you from being able to use your heightened platform/voice to speak on injustice” is such a ridiculously moronic take lmfao
@pjtarheel@GraceRandolph or they just have a different opinion to you? disliking something that’s popular doesn’t automatically make someone a contrarian
@GraceRandolph and don’t even get me started on noah schnapp lmao. people saying he deserves an emmy need to realize that making funny faces and screaming doesn’t automatically equate to good acting. i could do the same after 3 or 4 wines
@GraceRandolph half way through the final season and for the most part it’s just been more of the same 🥴 like considering the final shot of season 4 i was expecting alot more than “oh yeah we kinda just put metal over the giant openings that were the conclusion of last seasons entire plotline”
@GraceRandolph though who knows, it’s already generating tons of hype so they may get away with not having any major mic drop (+ be able to save some surprises for the movie)
@GraceRandolph they better have some insane reveal to finish it off (and i think they will) - elizabeth olsen? they can’t end a livestream of that length on a whimper, and the fact they’ve already shown kelsey grammar makes me think they have other surprises ahead
@jonathanfujii_ you do realize you can have your own opinion without portraying it as the common consensus, right? the livestream’s generating hype and people seem to be liking it. i see little difference between having one name every 12 or whatever minutes, and having them all announced at once
@GraceRandolph knew he was gonna win but it’s still ridiculous. directly after SAG went on strike to secure protection against AI, a performance which features the use of it wins an OSCAR? like be fr
@GraceRandolph the playing people off’s annoying. i get they’re on a time limit but they have no issue with including other random bits to drag out the runtime
