ParaDice! was partly created as a pragmatic excuse to learn @sveltejs and it even allowed a non-frontend dev to "get it" and start being really productive from day one.
There are people that inspired us both technically or conceptually. In due time we will give proper credit but Anton Natarov is an obvious one thanks to his online 3D dice https://t.co/mLNbmKykzQ We actually used it ourselves in the past
A bit of history. This project was inspired by the need of having a companion app for rolling dice while playing tabletop RPGs with everyone staying at home. Existing solutions were not stable enough, not visual enough or not open source enough. So we decided to build ParaDice!
Next steps: polish the code a bit, right now it's hackathon-style code, so bear with us. And then what's on the roadmap, basically. Later this year we'd love to encourage some level of community contribution. That would be so awesome :)
Important note: ParaDice! is open source under Mozilla Public License 2.0 and you can take a look at the code here https://t.co/yAcHlY93W3 Also, development work is public through our Taiga project here https://t.co/msZ6J1t8vc
