#WyrdWednesday - On November 13, 1833 people saw "fire falling from the sky". The Leonids, an annual meteor shower was amazing that year. One could see 100,000 meteors crossing the sky every hour. Some thought it was doomsday. The event inspired this woodcut by Adolf Vollmy.
