After nearly 3 decades, I’m leaving the @USChamber this month. I'll be taking on a portfolio of interests in my next chapter (more to come!) which will keep me engaged in my passion for advocating for US global leadership, but my Chamber time has truly been an incredible journey.
@BillLan21138849@USChamber Thank you for the kind words Bill. It's been quite the journey & I've been very fortunate to serve as an ambassador for U.S. business around the world. More to come!
@NishaBiswal@USChamber Thank you @NishaBiswal! You’re one of the best, thank you for your support and all the work you’ve done for me and the chamber. Couldn't have done it without you & the team.
As I finish my tenure with the @USChamber, it's fitting that my last act as Head of @ChamberGlobal will be an InSTEP discussion with friends who are exemplary leaders & diplomats: Ambassadors Burns, Nides & Nuland. Join us for a provocative conversation: https://t.co/xikB7d1TQb
10+ yrs ago we launched InSTEP to spark conversations about America’s global leadership. W/ an amazing team we’ve hosted dozens & dozens of programs to bring together business, govt, academia, think tanks & media to look at key issues at nexus of natl security & ecn prosperity.
Thanks @NECouncil for partnership on my last InSTEP dinner: an extraordinary talk w/ my friend Amb. John Sullivan to hear perspectives from being on the ground before the start of Russia’s war in Ukraine & discuss the war's impact, what's next, importance of Western unity & more.
Thank you @SuzanneUSCC & my Chamber colleagues, especially @ChamberGlobal, for an unbelievable & exciting ride! And thanks to the many friends in the business community & govt who I've worked w/ for so many years. I wish you all the very best & I'm sure we’ll stay in touch!
None of this would have been possible without a terrific & talented team by my side – the driving force behind the world’s largest business association. It's this team that made my journey at the Chamber so memorable & it's this team that I will miss the most.
Since the mid-1990s, I’ve had a front row seat to the evolving U.S.-China relationship while leading efforts to establish a level playing field for American companies. I’ve served on various boards to help guide U.S. global leadership.
I’ve had a front row seat to so many historical moments. Thanks to the Chamber, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world as an Ambassador of U.S. business interests. I’ve had the opportunity to host countless heads of state and government officials – both foreign and domestic.
