Apologies for the many typos -- but this is monumental. The Court seems to have spelled out a clear way forward for climate cases -- and confirmed that climate change is very much an ECHR issue. Now to read the judgments!

10/ 📌in a 16 judges to 1 decision, the Court finds that ther has been a violation of Article 8 of the Convention (respect for private and family life - the main legal basis through which the Court has ruled environmental cases)!

Unanimously, the court holds that it's not necessary to examine the applicability of Art. 2 ECHR. 16-1: there's a violation of Article 8 ECHR!!!!!!!
