How about drug-drug interactions for starters? That toxic co-administration of Ritonavir is a big problem. Not to mention #Paxlovidmouth 🤮, Paxlovid rebound, Paxlovid resistance, and the fact greedy Pfizer has jacked up pricing despite having received billions in pre-purchase agreements from the @WHCOVIDResponse team! The good thing is a #Paxlovidkilker is on the horizon. The bad thing is the @US_FDA fell asleep 😴 and refused to back #Ovydso as it’s sitting at the cusp of regulatory approval in China. The rest of the world will likely benefit too while the @US_FDA sits on their hands. Sage advice! Antibiotics are the cornerstone of modern medicine but their misuse and overuse in humans and animals have greatly contributed to antimicrobial resistance, which was a leading (still is) global health threat prior to the pandemic.
