There are selfies, and then there are selfies you put on the office wall.
Sir @kennethdalglish is a role model on and off the pitch.
The work he and his wife Marina have done with the The Marina Dalglish Appeal - a cancer charity- is so impressive
The news about Jason Arday so tragic and unavoidable
He’d already lost everything, publicly ridiculed and professionally ruined and yet they still piled on to the point he’s no longer with us all for blagging a couple of jobs?
The disportionate hounding of him was shameful
Just watched a clip of a 'reformoron' being interviewed.
His argument went like this...
"Burnham is hopeless, he's done nothing since he's been in power"
When asked what Farage has done for Clacton, his reply..
"Well, give him a chance he's not had enough time"
I give up
"Give me a break..." - Matt Frei laughs in the face of the dried human hairy scrotum with wonky teeth, Reform UK’s Gawain Towler, as he claims it's Count Binface not Farage who is "the establishment". 😂😂😂
I was 6 months pregnant when I had to give evidence at the Old Bailey for this case. It was 2 days of hell. I count myself lucky though. There were other victims whose lives he had totally destroyed. We learned from the victim impact statements read out in court that
King Kev 👑
I could write a million words about the impact you have had on my Dad and my Family’s lives but that still wouldn’t do it any justice.
As both of you were living happy retirements after your playing days a phone call from Kevin in 1992 would change our lives as a family forever without us realising. Kevin was the new manager of Newcastle Utd and wanted my Dad to go as his assistant manager, without hesitation we were up the M6 uprooting our lives in Liverpool for a new life in Newcastle.
A childhood of incredible memories began not just for me but for every child and adult for that matter in Newcastle, we all went on the rollercoaster that would be the ‘entertainers’. School holidays were at Maiden Castle watching the team training, but not just for me , everyone was invited. 5/6/7 thousand watched them training every day, Kevin wanted everyone to be part of the ride, he didn’t want anyone to not feel part of it all. You didn’t need to know Kevin to know him, his personality was warm and infectious which made people gravitate to him and hang on his every word.
Together they dragged a club and city from the wilderness to the front and back pages of every paper and made Geordies be proud to be from Newcastle again. Everyone wanted a piece of Newcastle on and off the pitch and that was because of Kevin’s passion and charisma for the club and the Geordie people.
34 years later and we are still here in Newcastle having lived great lives and created countless friendships and memories, if it wasn’t for Kevin who knows how our lives would have been shaped. They remained close friends right until the end, and my dad always had that extra glint in his eye when Kevin would call or spring in his step when he knew he was seeing him, he had that effect on everyone he was that special a man.
Kevin might be gone but his legacy will remain forever with the McDermott family and the whole Geordie and Football World, forever we will now all ‘walk in a Keegan Wonderland’
Thank You KK and ‘Wish you Well’ ❤️
The pursuit of Anthony Fauci, Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance is a deep wound on our body politik and has been disgracefully enabled by too many who should know better in the media and politics. These men saved millions of lives.
Sad news from Italy as Franco Baresi has passed away this morning at 66 years old.
An absolute legend of the game with AC Milan and Italy, marking an era for different generations.
Thoughts and prayers with the family and the friends.
Rest in peace, Franco. ❤️🕊️
Anthony Walker was murdered on July 30, 2005 in a brutal act of racist violence that sent shockwaves throughout the Liverpool city region and beyond. 💔
He was only eighteen years old and was in his second year of A-levels.
In 2006, the @awf_liverpool was established by his family and friends, to tackle racism, hate crime and discrimination, and ensure a powerful legacy for Anthony.
Rest in Eternal Peace Anthony.🙏🏾🕊️
Remembering Anthony Walker(18), who on this day 21 years ago, was murdered in the most brutal way in Huyton , by 2 cowardly degenerate racist bits of vermin!
Thoughts on this day as always with Anthony's family and friends.
R.IP: Never forgotten 🔴🔵👊🏿
People of Greater Manchester. Please get out and vote for @bevcraig on the 30th July to make sure 5mil Farage and his cronies don't get to spread their politics of hate and division!
