ಮೈಸೂರು ಪರಂಪರೆ ಉಳಿಸೋಣ: ಕೆಆರ್ಎಸ್ ಗೆ ತೆರಳುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸೆಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಎಂದು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡದೇ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ.

ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸೆಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವ.

ಕೆಆರ್ಎಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಎಂದು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ(Princess) ರಸ್ತೆ ಕೇವಲ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಹೆಸರಲ್ಲದೆ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಇಡಲಾಗಿದೆ:

ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಚೆಲುವಾಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರು, ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಚಾಮರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿವಿಲಾಸ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದ ಮಹಾರಾಣಿ ಕೆಂಪನಂಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಹಾರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾದ ಪಿಕೆ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೋರಿಯಂ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಹಾರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಚೆಲುವಾಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸ, ಚೆಲುವಾಂಬ ಮ್ಯಾನ್ಸನ್, ಈಗಿನ ಸಿಎಫ್ಟಿಆರ್ಐ ಬಂಗಲೆಯು ಸಹ ಇದೆ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಮಹಾರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರ ಇತಿಹಾಸ:

ಮಹಾರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರ ಜೀವನವು ದುರಂತದ ಸಾವು ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಇತಿಹಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಲ್, ಜಾಗೀರ್ದಾರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇಸ ರಾಜೇ ಅರಸ್ ಧರ್ಮಪತ್ನಿಯಾದ ಇವರು ಮತ್ತು ಇವರ ಮೂವರು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು 1904 ಮತ್ತು 1913 ರ ನಡುವೆ ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಿಯಾದರು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲು: ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೋರಿಯಂ (PKTB ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ) ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ 100 ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ರಾಜಮನೆತನದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವು PK ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೋರಿಯಂ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು:

1918 ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಹಾರಾಣಿ ಕೆಂಪನಂಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಹೊರವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೋರಿಯಂಗೆ ಅಡಿಗಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಲ್ ದೇಸ ರಾಜೇ ಅರಸ್ ₹ 75,000, ಅದರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. 1921 ರಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರೆಯಲಾದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಜಯದೇವ ಹೃದ್ರೋಗ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಟ್ರಾಮಾ ಕೇರ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್, ಮತ್ತು ಸೂಪರ್-ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಂತೆ ಈ ಜಾಗವು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ:

ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸೆಸ್ ರೋಡ್ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಎಂದು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ನಗರದ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸಿಹಾಕಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ: ರಸ್ತೆಯು ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಮನೆತನದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಗುರುತಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಹೆಗ್ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಏಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಲ್ಲ ಆಧುನಿಕ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವಾಗ, ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸೆಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣವು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ

ಪಿಕೆ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೋರಿಯಂ ಮತ್ತು ಚೆಲುವಾಂಬ ಮ್ಯಾನ್ಶನ್ನ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಿಂದಾಗಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಆಳವಾದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಮನೆತನದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸೆಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಜಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ಅವರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಗೌರವಿಸೋಣ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹೆಗ್ಗುರುತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜನತೆಯ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ, ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಹೆಗ್ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸಿ ಹಾಕುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿರ್ಣಯವೂ ಸಹ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮಾರಕವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ .
