I worked under a senior for two and a half years without any remuneration. Everything changed in January when he suddenly began taunting us and making unreasonable excuses and backbiting among us. One day, he bluntly told us, “I don’t have much work — you all figure out things on your own.”
We were understandably tense, unsure of where to go or what to do next. But being a team of five, each well-versed in a different domain — from client dealing to arguing before the court — we decided to take a leap of faith. We all resigned on the same day.
Today, we run our own chamber and are doing well. Thank God for giving us the courage to move forward.
