@monkchips@GergelyOrosz I'd be great to hear how other people are performing such a change. Is this the best strategy? Heavy handedness might expedite an outcome but it might disenfranchise staff in a highly fluid employment market.
@monkchips@GergelyOrosz It was indeed a great blog! Taking a company with poor on-call uncompensated culture to one where its importance is emphasised can be hard. I moved my workplace to option (6). This seems to be a good start and then moving to (5) if there are continued gaps are my thoughts.
@Pete_Snell@awesomederek Let’s not jump to conclusions if this is conjecture. I too am disappointed by its service though incidents happen. It’s how they communicate out and respond dictates whether they’re a good partner or not
@petehanssens I use AWS SSO from Onelogin idp using SCIM provisioning. Works well. Unsure if Google will do the SCIM provisioning; it'd be a shame if it doesn't as this is how we map people into specific SAML roles
I’m looking forward to sharing @REA_Group’s platform story at #platformcon this year giving a perspective on the question: when can you afford a platform? Super interesting topics and speakers available for Q&A on slack during the event! https://t.co/blXa0jshBh
How does Twitter work? Let’s take a look at it from the architectural point of view before Elon takes it.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭:
1️⃣ A tweet comes in through the Write API.
2️⃣ The Write API routes the request to the Fanout service.
