For maintainable codebases, prefer many small files and libraries over a few large ones.

Smaller units are easier to understand, review, test, refactor, and reuse. When a file grows significantly, consider splitting responsibilities.

✅ Run unit/E2E tests
✅ Manually verify the UI in the browser

Checklist:
• Zoom in/out
• Resize browser window
• Test iOS/Android devices in DevTools
• Verify light/dark modes

Manual UI checks still catch real visual issues.

• Type (feature, UI, data-access, util)
