Comic Books, TV, Film, and entertainment that we have resonated with, stories that have helped us in our lives and how to view the world.

@bearwiitch She was like Jessica Rabbit to Jim Carrey’s Roger.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

@therealsupes What I would give for someone to add the X-Men vs Capcom optic blast dialogue in this scene.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

@KeiziTV Nope, I would give it to Guillermo Del Toro, because he would make it like Pacific Rim and have Donnie Yen choreograph the film like he had him do in Blade 2.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

@bruceromantic Same thing was said when Keaton was cast. Look it up!

Stephen King Fans - IT Welcome to Derry Trailer 2, if you don’t know, this a prequel spin-off to the films. There is much to unpack, but I only have enough space to tell you about the Easter Egg : Shawshank State Prison. If you know, you know

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

Stephen King Fans - If you're a fan of the novel or film Salem’s Lot, or read the short story Jerusalem’s Lot from the book Night Shift, check out the show Chapelwaite. It is a one-season show with 10 episodes, that you can binge-watch in a day. Check it out!!

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

Stephen King Fans - HBO Original series Welcome to Derry will premiere in October of this year….You’ll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To! You'll Float To!

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

If You Like, You'll Love - I’m a massive George A. Romero fan, so when Capcom made a game where you're locked inside a mall with zombies, all I could think about was Dawn Of The Dead.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

Movie History!! - On July 14, 2000 the most anticipated superhero movie of that summer premiered. A film, that could have failed and ruined the possibility of future installments, but it succeeded, bringing in millions at the box office. The film was the X-MEN.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

If You Like, You'll Love - There are talks on a possible The Legend of Zelda live-action film adaptation making its way to the silver screens, but if we go back to 1985, a year before the game's inception you might find similarities in the movie Legend by Ridley Scott

When Scott Free is helping Morpheus locate the Ruby, Free is looking for specific members of the Justice League who may know the whereabouts of the Ruby. Who he finds is the most loved member of the Justice League, John Jonz, the Martian Manhunter.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

The Sandman - When Morpheus speaks to the fates to find his possession, one of the fates tell him “to ask the League of Justice of its whereabouts”. Which leads Morpheus into finding members of the Justice League.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

When he begins to locate members of the Justice League through their dreams, he walks into Scott Free’s dream. Scott Free who goes by the alias, Mr. Miracle.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

What's even more interesting about John Dee is where he is held as a mental patient, a place we all know to damn well, Arkham Asylum. While trying to escape Arkham, John Dee finds himself in another cell with a popular Batman villain. Jonathan Crane, also known as The Scarecrow

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

The Sandman - When Morpheus is locating his possessions, he is trying to locate the Ruby. He finds out that John Dee a mental patient, possesses the Ruby. What they don't mention in the show is who John Dee really is, in the DC comics Universe he goes by the name Dr. Destiny

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

The Sandman - Also, I can't forget that Deadboy Detective is also part of this universe. In the comics, after Lucifer quits his “JOB”, some of the demons manage to escape from hell to live on earth. The Deadboy Detectives were the two of the many that managed to escape.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

The Sandman - This is only for the fans that watch the show and aren't familiar with the comics. The same Lucifer Morningstar on The Sandman is the same Lucifer Morningstar from the show Lucifer. The only difference is the backstory between the two Lucifers.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

Game History!! - On July 10, 2002, Namco published Soul Calibur 2 for the Xbox (Original), PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube. What made the game special wasn't just the quality graphics of that time, what was special was that each platform had an exclusive character.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

@Amazon_artemis That's not original, the Kryptonian language appears on Smallville, even in the comic book series with Batman and Superman, when they did a reimagining of the first appearance of Supergirl. It also appeared in the novel last days of Krypton.

[GeekMythosPodcast @mythos_geek]

@JasonLaboyPhoto I give it to the end of this year when everyone isn't riding the Gunn or Snyder train. The end of the day people a literally saying some outlandish comments just to get there point across about fictional characters.
