@jo_goody What a gorgeous picture Jo, he looks like such a lovely man, sending you much love and huge respect for your fight for your Dad and the other families - inspirational ♥️

Today the Chancellor made a choice. There’s no 'age of optimism' for people on the very lowest incomes. We need investment in long-term local welfare support and a stronger social security system so nobody faces impossible decisions about whether to heat their home or eat.

@JoanConcannon So releived we can still read Tom’s column

Thank you so much for the many kind messages I've recived since my departure from Stratford Foodbank.

I'm really glad to share the good news that I will shortly be starting at the Trussell Trust as West Midland's Area Manager for Financial Inclusion.

Clouds and silver linings

@IAmTimDowling Loved this weeks column (I always do tbh) but as a fellow cat owner who has definitely lost all structure over meal times for our two you made me laugh out loud with the reassurance that I’m not alone in being a victim to this sort of feline bullying

[Marion Homer @mytoplife]

@BukayoSaka87, @Sanchooo10 & @MarcusRashford thank you for giving the country something to be proud of - I’m so grateful to you and all the English team - fantastic role models - what a fantastic few weeks you have given us

A couple of days of big events - stratford Town Council last night TT church leaders breakfast today - being the Foodbank Manager is a privilege and a responsibility

[Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank @SOAFoodbank]

So good to be part of the @TrussellTrust #BigChurchLeadersBreakfastEngland working together to make sure Foodbanks are not part of the “new normal”

@BBCWomansHour I’m very confused by this intv - hasn’t camilla and kids company just been acquitted? - if so why wasn’t this interview about how Camilla became so vilified rather than a defence of BBC journalism - it was too much about her and not enough about how she was played by politicians

[Marion Homer @mytoplife]

@BBCWomansHour @MuslimCouncil I think the approach Emma took on this interview was misjudged- I’m not used to hearing women challenged so aggressively on Womans hour - it made for uncomfortable listening -

[Marion Homer @mytoplife]

@HeraldNewspaper Back to Stratford in Avon 😂

[Trussell @TrussellUK]

'Food poverty' is just one part of a broader systemic issue: poverty. Hunger in the UK isn't about food - it's about people not being able to afford the essentials. We need to build a #HungerFreeFuture now > https://t.co/KC1TEj6jKi

[Trussell @TrussellUK]

Without the £20 uplift to #UniversalCredit, tens of thousands of families could be left facing destitution. Ask your MP to add their voice to calls for change now and #KeepTheLifeline > https://t.co/grJR65ts4y

Totally blown away by this achievement - huge commitment by SUA FB volunteers in both a lockdown and a pandemic and amazing support from local residents

We’ve put up some poppies and a prayer in preparation for Remembrance Sunday. May God’s peace calm our fears at this difficult time.
