Me: goes for the baking profession in #Medievalathon
Also me: goes to bed when a baker would get up
Thank God I have a month to ease myself into this job π
I'm getting ready to read Anne of Green Gables for #Medievalathon tomorrow!
Goodreads and several YouTubers recommended it so let's give everyone else's childhood classic a go! ππ₯
I was trying to get my tbr sorted for my baking career for the #medievalathon... currently debating if I should reread a biography or rather read a non-fiction book about Roman cities that I found among my grandpa's stuffπ€
(Or I will order something entirely different xD)
@myfortofbooks Usually I'm quite the same with choosing things for readathons but somehow baking called to me π
I hope you will have fun with whichever one you end up choosing π
Can't wait to start with #medievalathon in 9 days!
I will go for the baking profession and hopefully manage some actual baking during the readathon β€οΈπ
Enjoy the thrills and chills of baking breads and more! Bakers are very important to the city. They provide edible food for peasants but sometimes for upper nobility. A professional foodie is just what the kingdom needs.
π° The Kingdom is your home. It is a land of limitless potential. You have the hands with which to mold a new life. You had only to wait for the right books to come along. Choose your path for January 10th will give rise to a glorious victory.
me, a native German speaker
- learning Spanish: oh, I would've added an article there...
- learning Russian: if the sentence is half as long as the German one it's probably correct
I'm continuing The One at the moment. For me it's this in-between thing of
being interested in the fate of these characters
but actually not caring about them very much
It's weird but fun to have a book like this :D
