Pakistan cricket has hit a new low. Losing to Bangladesh and that too a whitewash is a national humiliation. This is coming on top of Bangladesh beating us 2-0 earlier in Pakistan.
Time for the present PCB leadership to step aside and let someone else manage the affairs.
Last night’s announcement of petrol increase had nothing to do with international oil prices which in fact had reduced over last one week. The increase is only due to further imposition of petroleum levy. More taxes because FBR is not able to achieve its targets. People can’t be punished for poorest performance of the government
The worthy winners @PeshawarZalmi - those Mendis & Babar partnerships winning them many games but the brilliance of Sufyan Muqeem - just outstanding.
Imagine this govt. Yesterday imposed Petroleum levy and reversed by the PM within 24 hours. We were right. There was no justification of additional petroleum levy.
Shows the original decision was taken without any formal understanding. When the opposition mounted pressure, the PM buckled and withdrew.
Govt last night raised petroleum levy (tax) on petrol by Rs 55 per litre. These are the taxes our govt is charging on every litre of petrol:
Custom Duty: Rs 24.12
Climate Levy: Rs 2.50
Petroleum Levy: Rs 160.61
Total govt taxes: 187.23
Govt taxes are 40.8% of the petrol price of Rs 458.41.
The new price of petrol is Rs 458.41 per litre. It was increased by Rs 134 per litre last night. This increase includes an increase of Rs 55 in petroleum levy. So the government decided to increase tax on petrol by Rs 55 at the same time it was raising prices.
So let’s understand this. The government last night raised petrol prices by Rs 79 per litre but at the same time also decided to raise taxes on petrol by Rs 55 for a total increase of Rs 134 per litre. And it keeps saying it doesn’t want to burden the people and wants to lift the burden itself. Theek ho gaya.
Naseem Shah has been handed what is believed to be the largest fine in Pakistan cricket history after a swiftly deleted tweet from his account appeared to criticise Punjab's chief minister Maryam Nawaz.
Naseem's PKR 20 million fine (approx. USD $72,000) is worth approximately eight months' of his central contract salary
PCB bans Naseem’s social media manager from working with contracted players. In the same breath, they fine Naseem the biggest fine in PCB history. If your own punishment confirms the manager did it, how do you justify fining the player?
Make it make sense 🤔
Think of it like building a house on a rented plot. Once the rental period is done, the house is theirs.
Do I recommend building a house on a rented plot? No.
The PCB told me that if I want to renew my MS contract I will have to give a legal undertaking that I will never criticise PSL management again. 😄🙄
Also to delete all my tweets where I called them incompetent and mediocre.

An ODI team without Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, & Saud Shakeel looks like this.
I am all for injecting youngsters in the fray & I would like them to be given ample chances, assess their pedigree, persist with them but you don’t include a bunch, all together.
Mike Hesson should be reminded an innings has stipulated 50 overs & not 15 in an ODI.
MEHRAN MUMTAZ and SUFYAN MOQIM are perfect replacements of Mohammad Nawaz and Shadab Khan and should have been included on Bangladesh Tour. Mumtaz and Sufyan are facing continuous ignorance by Selectors! #PakistanCricket
Pakistan should add Haseebullah from Balochistan, Sufiyan Muqeem, Salman Irshad, Zaman Khan & Mehran Mumtaz from Azad Kashmir in the ODI squad. These players have been performing for quite a long time now 🇵🇰✅
Ghazi Ghouri List-A average: 20.6
Haseebullah List-A average: 45.2
On this tour of Bangladesh, where Fakhar Zaman was unavailable and Saim Ayub was dropped, you could have easily given him the full series to express. Ghazi Ghouri selection doesn't make any sense at all.
