@LisenbyJosh@CounselorAdrian@uvmvermont@ClarkUniversity Thanks for the clarification. Glad that was your takeaway. Are you aware that at UVM students are required to Vax but faculty and staff are not? I was clearly not articulate enough.
@CounselorAdrian@uvmvermont@ClarkUniversity I wasn’t arguing with you. I was simply emphasizing the part about faculty and staff. As student mandates are becoming universal, the faculty and staff part isn’t.
@bentraverse@CounselorAdrian@USEEOC@VTLabor What other vaccines or healthcare decisions am I allowed to mandate my employees have as a condition of employment? Or is it only the COVID-19 vaccine?
@CounselorAdrian@KatieFM @Troy_Headrick If too much appreciation in your home is a concern, a few things you can do to decrease your tax bill. You can trash your house and devalue it, stop working, hope for a recession, hope for interest rates to skyrocket. RE prices have an inverse relationship to interest rates.
@CounselorAdrian @NCTinVT Without going into a long explanation, please understand that people who pay their full tax bill are subsidizing the equity being built by those who do not pay their full tax bill. In addition, if everyone paid their full tax bill, the tax bills themselves would be much lower.
@CounselorAdrian You may know what your neighbors tax assessment is and assessed value but you have no idea what they actually pay. Income sensitivity obscures that. Last I checked 70+% of Vermonter’s don’t pay their tax bill in full.
@CounselorAdrian Now substitute the word office, school, gas station, hotel, restaurant, Home Depot, TJ Max etc for house and repost......nowhere is safe...
