@Jess5th Same for colleagues, too. I don’t want to assume anyone had a good (great!) break when there’s so much heartache, worry, loss, trouble, or pain that folx could be experiencing during that time.

@Jess5th As students return, we want to be aware of differences that families might have. We could students to reflect upon the most significant experience of their holiday or any particular interest or hobbies they have developed- maybe they've been baking, working puzzles, gardening..
I got another box of author copies, so here’s another giveaway! Two 25-copy sets of my activity book, Give This Book a Title — 25 here, 25 on Instagram! You can enter to win the books as long as you can get them into kids’ hands.
To enter here, follow me and retweet this tweet!
Giving kids choice in their reading lives not only increases the chances that they’ll fall in love with reading and become lifelong readers, it also lets them know that you respect them as unique individuals with their own tastes, interests, and curiosities.
In honor of my birthday, I’m giving away 2 copies of @reneewauthor’s Ways to Make Sunshine. RT before 11:59 PM CDT to enter the drawing. 📚❤️🎂🍦🧁📚❤️ https://t.co/tIlUZrutRH Illustration credit: @msbeautifique
Good advice from Angela Srdoin’s presenrstion... teacher’s should record all of their virtual lessons... then when someone is sick, that can still access what they missed. @LearnPromethean #CampPromethean20
Since we will not have any field trips this year- this will be perfect to still let our students experience different places! @LearnPromethean #campPromethean20
