The Council has commenced Standing Committings for the Second Quarter of 2026/27 Finanacial Year.

The meetings will run up to 22 September, 2026.

The committee meetings include: Parks and Leisure, Finance, Human Resources, Planning & Devt, Education and Health and Works.

The Council continues to close down businesses that are operating without Council permit. So far, over 100 shops have been closed. The exercise also targets properties whose owners have not yet honored city rates.
