This actually happened to me when I started as an intern. My supervisor suggested I should come into the office on my off days to prove how committed I was. Then he mentioned the extra time wouldn’t be paid. I politely explained that wouldn’t be possible, as I have other commitments outside of work hours. Commitment is important, but so is respecting personal time🤷🏼‍♂️
