Today in Islamic History 8th Dhul Hijjah is the day when Our Prophet Muhammad (S)’s Grandson Imam Hussain (A) converted his Pilgrimage (Hajj) into off-seasonal Pilgrimage (Umra) and started his journey from Makkah towards Iraq so to save the sanctity and honour of this sacred place (ka’aba).
In this way the heinous conspiracy of Bannu Umayyad to trample the sanctity and honor of Ka’aba by shedding blood of Imam Hussain (A) there, had failed.
The date was 8th Dhul Hijjah 60 Hijri. With him there were about 50 people including women and children of his family and friends. His uncle Ibne Abbas and his brother Mohammad-e-Hanafiya did not go with him.
They came to bid farewell and tried to warn the Imam of the dangers ahead. Mohammad-e-Hanafiya told him that the Makkans and other pilgrims were wondering why he was leaving just one day before the Hajj.
Imam (AS) left a letter with his brother which explained his position clearly. The letter read as follows:
“I have not come out to stir emotions, to play with oppression. I want to bring the Ummah back to the path of Amr-bil-Marouf and Nahyi Anil Munker.
I want to lead them to the path of my Grandfather and Father Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS).”
"If Ali (as) was not created, there would be no equal for Fatima (sa)"

How does he think he will survive going back to Iran?
In the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sayyeda Fatemeh al-Masoumeh (peace be upon her) and the National Girl's Day
Iran's choice to mark National Girls' Day specifically on the anniversary of the birth of Sayyeda Masoumeh (peace be upon her) who is the daughter of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS), the sister of Imam al-Reza (AS) serves as a very important reminder of the role of girls and their upbringing in society, while also pointing at who we should be looking at and learn from when it comes to choosing role models, not just for ourselves but also for our children, most specifically, our daughters... Being that Ahlul Bayt (AS) are the most perfect, complete and finest examples for all of us to imitate and take inspirations from.
It was narrated about the Prophet (SAWA) he said:
"Whoever supports (takes care of) three daughters or three sisters, Paradise becomes obligatory for him."
It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, and (what about) two?"
He said: "And two."
It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, and (what about) one?"
He said: "And one."
That hadith highlights the importance of taking care of our daughters and sisters, while today being National Girls’ Day, we understand that young girls, whether as daughters or sisters, they are blessings. And in order for the blessing to be fruitful, there must be an important and serious role in educating, raising and caring for girls. And what do we have other than Islam, the Prophets, and Ahlul Bayt (AS) to derive from them praiseworthy teachings and awareness?
Every character in Islam, from the very start, from the first Prophet to the last, every infallible Imam from the first to last, the honorable characters from Ahlul Bayt (AS), they are not merely historic or religious figures, they are not just people to praise, but they all represent and embody values, lessons and morals for us—their stories must be sources of inspiration. Their character should be emulated, and their tragedies should be a refuge and lessons for us. None of the situations, trials and hardships that happened to our Prophets, Imams and Ahlul Bayt (AS) were a coincidence, but by a design by Allah (SWT). Islam does not only raise us in a way to enter heaven, but to develop intellectually, to develop as people.
Out of Allah's love for us and for our guidance, Allah Almighty has given us all these stories about the Prophets and Imams so that we learn from them. And when we have with us these holy and infallible figures of supreme wisdom, it leaves no room for us to be desperate and resort to anyone else.

🚨 https://t.co/ZCZgMAhsIg the world's most popular Quran website removed Mishari Alafasy as its default Quran reciter after comments posted by him supporting Trump's attacks on Iran.
Mishari posted on his official X account: "الرئيس ترامب سيفتح أبواب الجحيم على إيران"
Translating: "President Trump will open the gates of hell on Iran"
Shortly afterwards, https://t.co/ZCZgMAhsIg removed him as the default Quran reciter on their website. Although the audio of his recitation still exists on the website, it is not the default choice when a user wishes to listen to verses of the Quran.
