id software news
-Two thirds of the people who developed DOOM 2016 are gone
-Many “multi-hat” devs who were integral to the team are gone
-A lot of current and previous staff don’t like the comparison to the team during DOOM 2016’s development as id had just lost a lot of talent and experienced layoffs during that time
-An ex-id staff said “I don't agree with Hugo's statement and many who were laid off were upset by those comments and saw it as viewing their contributions as insignificant to the success of our games”

@MarvelExrth616 basically what happened here is, you paused on the trailer and saw that engraving, you googled "doom runes", reposted the first result you saw (which is art for DOOM 2016) and asked chatgpt to come up with a headcannon mixing the two results.
Fun fact: Daisy's new animations in DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations were animated after my own pet bunny, who is ALSO named Daisy, inspired by the Doom Slayer's own pet bunny!
P.S. How many Daisies have you found in the DLC so far? There's quite a few to find! 🐰
Inside our @DOOM Slayer Codex!
Beautifully made by Nate Hartness for our #doom trailer “A Tale of Revelations”
It was inspired by the Necronomicon (evil dead) and the grail diary (last crusade)
Where we had our base game pages within the book and our Revelations pages added in by the Curator for the museum.
We tried to include as many pages as we could in the trailer. I love them all. I wish we made more. @idSoftware
This honestly goes for almost anything in the new Doom Trilogy. From gameplay, to the artstyles, and the music. Each game stands as its own thing while still being part of said trilogy. And despite being so different from one another, they still feel cohesive
