Paul here. If you're looking for me (and you know who you are!), you can find me on the following platforms: America's Best Pics and Video; Google Messages; Parler; Rumble; Signal Messenger; and YouTube. And of course, X!
@FreedomNow26@FarmGirlCarrie If I order my food, then I or Me serves Myself, should I or Me tip Myself? I wonder how Me and I would evaluate Myself's service... Hmmm... 🤔
@FarmGirlCarrie I tip servers according to their service. Awesome service gets an awesome tip; I have tipped up to 50% for outstanding, stupendous service! OTOH, if I get lousy service, I leave a lousy tip. Servers: if you want a good tip from me, you must earn it! I don't simply give it away.
@KingChandler219@ohhanxiety This "Uncle John" was quite prolific. His works must've been particularly moving.
I wonder if he was related to Thomas Crapper... 🤔
@Naturesdesires@wiseconnector I heard a rumor once (was it true?) that Perry Como helped Elvis with phrasing and breathing. Elvis Presley had a great deal of respect for Perry Como, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. He considered these men significant influences in his career.
@wiseconnector This is an easy one for me. It can be no less than the King of Rock n' Roll himself, Elvis Presley!
MJ named himself the "King of Pop." Sorry, you can't give yourself the title; it must be earned. Prince is a close follow-up. Both Elvis and Prince went way before their times.
@wiseconnector My path in aviation led me to aviation tech. school in 1994. In late 1995 I graduated. In 1996 I earned my FAA A&P license. I worked on Boeing 737-200/-300 & McDonnell Douglas MD-82/-88 jetliners. I studied meteorology through books and a friend in NWS. I still hit the books now!
@wiseconnector My very first flight on a plane was a 1-hour introductory flight aboard a Beechcraft Sundowner. This was at a Beech Aero Club in Colorado Springs, CO. It was a thrilling first flight! We only flew around the airport a couple of times and did a couple of touch & go's. Lots of fun!
@wiseconnector I didn't get to take any flying lessons (bummer!), but that flight piqued my interest in weather, and later, meteorology. I didn't go to school for it; but for the past 35+ years, I've been a Storm Spotter/Chaser & Amateur Meteorologist. My path in aviation went into maintenance.
@WorkElizab My mother. She was my inspiration and supporter. She was always there for me when I needed help, and I helped her when cancer took her too soon.
@DanHolderMusic@wiseconnector Yes, this is true. Some people believe their prayers weren't answered, when they actually were; God simply didn't give them the answer they wanted or expected.
