Alan Peter Cayetano’s law school batchmates are calling him out for enabling a constitutional crisis.
Sabi nila, stop power-tripping the Senate, face the Ombudsman, and quit shielding Bato dela Rosa from the law under the guise of fake "protective custody."
Literal na tinuruan siya ng separation of powers, pero bakit anyare sa memory natin, gurl?
Fiat justitia ruat caelum.
Let justice be done though the heavens fall!
@brainyJess@AnakDalita2 From protecting a senator to evade arrest (Sen. BDL), to removing committee heads who have made meaningful contributions to the nation and replacing them with senators many view as incompetent, these actions raise concerns about the direction of the Senate under his leadership.
@brainyJess@AnakDalita2 It is rather about identifying and addressing what may be the root cause of many of them. While all individuals involved should still be held accountable for their own actions, my concern is that as long as APC remains Senate President, more of these issues may continue to arise.
@brainyJess@AnakDalita2 APC currently holds a significant position of influence within the Senate, including oversight of the officials responsible for handling many of these national issues. This is not about ignoring the other problems our country faces ++
@brainyJess@AnakDalita2 How do you expect these issues to be resolved when the people in power, who are responsible for addressing them, continue to demonstrate incompetence? This is not about ignoring these issues it is about holding those who contribute to these problems accountable for their actions
