@virginmedia here we go again - our broadband never seems to work & never seem to be able to get through to you on the phone. Seriously losing patience with the whole thing. Is there an issue in N1 - yes/no? website says no but a garbled recorded message maybe says otherwise?

Done that (obviously). Says no. Your phone line has a semi-incomprehensible message that mentions broadband. This is constant - and makes it impossible to work from home. Spending money on EE backup WiFi which is a joke!

@KitchenBee normally do it - but nearly chopped the end of my finger off in October, and the beautiful Japanese cleaver has not been sharpened since! A trip to A&E and some glue/steristrips sorted it out, but i did feel like an idiot going in for that in the middle of a pandemic 😀

Just read a company’s advice on returning to the office. To be fair to them, they’ve tried v hard. But - they say no scientific evidence for transmission through air conditioning. Is this true? @GidMK (seeing as I use your tweets as my public info service on Covid!)

@KitchenBee Didn’t like it when i was a teenager - too many other things going on (bands&boys, mainly). Buti left home at 18, and had to fend for myself - liked eating too much to eat rubbish. Hanging around mum & granny who cooked somehow rubbed off so think cooking at home is v important
