If you’re Kyle Shanahan or any opposing offensive coordinator you have to throw away the gameplan you previously had against the rams… Myles Garret is that type of player.

7-6 is my early record prediction.
The season will come down to taking advantage of favorable matchups like:
@ UTEP
@ Reno
Vs NIU
Vs Air Force
These games come between weeks 6-10. The Spartans will need to take advantage and improve closing out games this season.
Going into this year with no expectations. I would be happy with a bowl game considering how last season went. I see 2026 as sort of a rebuilding year for the following season. Who knows though, they could surprise some people, including myself.

For the third time in five years, the 49ers are not drafting in the first round.
They twice traded down
1. With Dolphins (Nos. 27 & 138, for Nos. 30 & 90)
2. With Jets (No. 30, for Nos. 33 & 179)
The #Dolphins traded up to No. 27 in a deal with the 49ers and Miami will select San Diego State CB Chris Johnson.
A patient, sticky cover corner, Johnson thrived in both man and zone, allowing just 11 completions with 13 PBUs, 4 INTs, and zero TDs allowed last season.
