watching a room full of strangers cheer and gasp together for a hero who means so much to everyone shows how unmatched the communal experience of going to the movies truly is. this was great ❤️
the older i get, the more spider-man becomes less about powers and more about trying to stay hopeful when everything keeps changing. tom's peter always feels like a kid carrying responsibilities that are way too big for him and thats the version of spidey that hits me the hardest
there’s a moment in spider-man brand new day where peter does/says something that will FOR SURE have big implications and have peter feeling like this in a couple years.

Jean Grey deserved an epic X-Men story, not to be shoehorned into a Spider-Man teen drama. They fumbled one of Marvel’s greatest characters before she even got a chance to shine.
