Greektown has been trying to be an open street since the 1970's. When it reopens they will have eliminated the curbs so it will be more walkable when they close it for pedestrians.

Members of ATU Local 26 have ratified a new contract that, pending City Council approval, will provide a wage increase, plus bonuses for safety and attendance.
