Jairam ji, your interpretation of what happened could not be further from reality. What you are trying to falsely portray as public anger was, in fact, an overwhelming and enthusiastic response from the people.

The sheer enthusiasm of the gathering required me to intervene briefly so that the programme could continue smoothly.

To mistake people’s enthusiasm for anger only reveals how disconnected you are from the mood of the people of Andhra Pradesh and Bharat alike.

Politically motivated social media narratives cannot change what people themselves felt and expressed!

I spent the day with some of India’s finest intellectual minds at the PAN IIT Andhra Pradesh Summit. It was one of the most stimulating and enriching engagements I have had recently.

Today, we released the PAN IIT Amaravati Declaration, laying out a roadmap to harness the IIT ecosystem’s knowledge, technology and global network for Andhra Pradesh.

We are establishing the PAN IIT Amaravati Council as a permanent nodal platform, along with a ₹500 crore Venture Fund to back DeepTech innovation and incubate 50 startups by 2030 across Quantum-AI, Semiconductors, Space & Defence, HealthTech, AgriTech and the Blue Economy.

Our vision is clear: to make Amaravati a global hub for ideas, research, innovation and future technologies.

I thank PAN IIT Alumni India and the entire IIT community for joining Andhra Pradesh’s growth story. When the intellectual strength of our IITs meets the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Swarna Andhra 2047, the possibilities are limitless.

Sometimes, a cartoon captures courage better than words ever can. Stabbed and seriously injured in the cockpit, Capt. Smit Machchhar still had the presence of mind to send an emergency signal, fight back and unlock the cockpit door. His actions helped save 174 lives aboard the flydubai flight.

India is proud of you, Captain. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Sri Guru Kalki Bhagavan Ji, founder of the Oneness Movement. His life was dedicated to spreading the values of love, compassion and spiritual awakening, touching the lives of countless people across India and the world.

His spiritual work was deeply rooted in Varadaiahpalem and the Tirupati region, making his passing a profound loss for Andhra Pradesh and for all those who drew inspiration from his teachings.

I convey my heartfelt condolences to Sri Krishnaji, the bereaved family and his devotees.
