The SEC has officially closed its investigation into CyberKongz.

After years of litigation, unjust allegations, crippling legal fees, and the biggest hurdle we could possibly encounter - we are free.

This is an extremely proud moment for CyberKongz. We are a small, passionate, and creative web3 team that elected to fight this battle for the betterment of web3.

We are certain this result will provide clarity to many projects innovating with blockchain technology, pushing the boundaries of web3 gaming, and ultimately showcasing the beauty of NFTs.

As for CyberKongz, the shackles are lifted. We have been preparing for this day for a long time. A full rebrand and new direction for CyberKongz will be announced soon.

But in the meantime, it should be celebrated by all that our space is here to stay.

Some of the problems I see:

-There's an overwhelming number of chains, tokens, and dApps competing for attention
-This leads to a constant rotation and a fight for yield, as fast as the yield incentives are gone --> users run too
-Scams and memecoin pump & dumps have hurt user trust and adoption
-Much more competitive --> looking more and more like TradFi
-High FDV, low float token environment --> constant inflation pressure --> no one wants to buy
-People still believe that great product = token must go up only (bad news: it's not a stock)

Also I feel marketing is quite broken too. Agencies, marketing firms, and founders mostly want to push narratives in an uptrend/bullish market conditions, which leads to projects only posting their best updates in these conditions. Meanwhile, their token are tanking.

Why is it like this? Because we are conditioned to time the market due to the 4-year cycles. Well, what if these cycles aren't real anymore. As @alpha_pls writes: "The crypto four year cycle framework is dead and will do a lot of damage to crypto traders who fail to adapt."

There is some light at the end of the tunnel though. And there are a lot of interesting things being built. But before we resume up only we need Trump and the US stock market to reverse. We still have a lot of work to do in this industry, and I still believe there are opportunities to be found for the trained eye.
